An intensive curriculum that pairs video modules with live, facilitated discussions, this flagship experience presents a historical, cultural, and structural analysis of racism and inequity.

The immersive experience is designed for groups of up to 25 participants in a virtual setting to provide a deep dive into transformative content, as well as an opportunity to connect with, relate to, and form a sense of community with fellow participants.

Participants receive a participant resource guide along with access to The Groundwater Network.

  • At Groundwater Institute, our Basecamp is an intensive 5-day training program for leaders who are committed to the fight for racial equity and ready to make the investment to go deep into the work. Basecamp is also a key way that we build our base.

  • Since it launched, GWI has run over 20 cohorts of Basecamp. Each cohort consists of 36 leaders representing multiple organizations and sectors, as well as diverse life experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. These leaders are the foundation of our growing Groundwater Network and continue to deepen their learning.
